Paulson Building - Spokane, Washington - Vintage Postcard Tobacco_auction Front: Hotel BameThe August Paulson Building was built in the period of 1908 1911 and was designed by Dow and Hubbel Architects. When it was added to the skyline, It was the tallest and grandest building in Spokane. Twenty years later a second building was added which was a Medical and Dental Center. The original building was significant as it was an all steel construction high rise project, styled after the Chicago school of Architecture begun by Louis Sullivan.
