In the centre of the piece there is a space where an engraving could go, as well as the back of the pendant. The necklace hangs from a new sterling silver chain. The piece has a number of hallmarked indicating the piece was made by WHH, William Hair Haseler who was a jeweller in Birmingham around 1900.
